Superb Cast Iron Antique Electric Fireplace Insert w Glass Embers. Here we have a rather large cast iron fireplace insert. It is an antique, dating to about 1920 and is an electric unit with clear flickering bulbs (that produce a flickering flame effect) and a heavy mesh screen for holding the multi-colored glass embers. It measures 22" wide x 17" tall x 10 deep and weighs 32lbs. The condition is excellent with no cracks or breaks.

The old wiring has been professionally replaced, so it does not need updating.
