For sale is this top quality restored cast iron fireplace insert. It comes with a working remote controlled electric fire.

The cast iron insert has been stripped, cleaned, heatproof treated and fully polished to bring out its original character. This is a lovely condition fireplace insert in a Victorian arched style, distinguishable by its use of layered ironwork around a beautiful decorative arch. The detail and quality can be seen in the pictures both inside and outside of the fire, which looks as good as new after a full restoration. We will supply for free the fitted remote control electric fire and that came with this item for restoration and is fully working.

However, please note that we are not registered electrical retailers and the electric fire would not come with any guarantee. That said, we have had it working for a couple of hours without any issue. The flickering fire light is provided by LEDs and it works on a regular uk three pin plug. The fireplace is made of solid, very heavyweight, cast iron in excellent condition.

Complete with fully functioning damper, ornate fret bars and ash pan cover to discreetly hide the electric controls. This fireplace is ready to install and will add warmth and character to your home.
